The Ace of Pentacles represents new starts, taking new directions, exploring new alternatives, planting seeds, financial increase and victory. It’s also about seeing the gift that the earth or manifestation really is. This is either cherishing life and the experiences we’re offered or deciding to take up the challenges that come our way with courage, determination and willingness to move forward. When we embark upon new beginnings we realize there are some things that need to change. Here we know how to alter our course and do so voluntarily and in accordance with the times and our resources.
In the Tarot Pentacles represent earth, money, finances and work. I also liken them to growth and building of a physical nature. Maybe your building a house, a new business, a family or a new life in general. If so this card is very auspicious and speaks of opportunities, fortunate circumstances and speedy advancement. Good planning and organization while reflecting on the long term goals are the cornerstone of creating a good foundation. A curious and open nature go a long way here as well. We may be taking up some new adventures and entertaining a bit of our spirit as well. Risk taking is a valuable skill when we’re entering new territory.
Aces as I’ve stated represent beginnings and new starts. That means that one cycle has ended, the culmination period is over in regards to that and the new cycle is actually physically beginning. It’s helpful if we’ve taken the time for reflection about the old cycle, what we did and didn’t like, what we would do over again and what we would leave behind. This really is about paying attention to life and it’s messages, learning from them and making manifest that which we want to see growing in our lives.
Opportunities to do things differently are always offered to us, that’s a divine gift. Would you worry less and laugh more? Love harder or do you need to focus more on work? Do we need to practice more grounding or are we to tethered the earth and in need of some cosmic connection and bliss? Is more exercise in order or do you seriously need to work on your diet? How about meditation, doing that regularly? Do you need to create a new budget or reorder your finances? These (and more) are all good ideas when working with the Ace of Pentacles. An important aspect of this energy is commitment and steady application. Creating new habits and ways of being doesn’t happen over night but with the opportunities represented by this card you’ve got a beautiful start here so take up the challenge to change.
The past is over and this is most certainly a good reason for staying in the present.
Have a great week.
