I try and reduce myself to an almost blank slate and hope to God that I am creative. – Ben Kingsley

In the Tarot The Fool represents beginnings due to a new found willingness to take risks. Preceding the appearance of The Fool is usually a long, arduous healing process. Releasing childhood fears as well as checking deep-seated beliefs from other lifetimes is a pre-requisite for the Fool revealing itself in the upright manner. Often it represents a clean-slate type of situation where much from your past is cleared up and your free to move in any direction you’d like to go in. This is a lot like Tom Hanks in Castaway standing at the crossroads in the desert looking at a map trying to determine what the next destination is. The Fool is ready to take a plunge and start a new life.

In relationships it can mean stepping into new adventures with your partner, taking risks and feeling carefree together. Maybe checking things out about town and cherishing the good times. If you’re looking for a relationship The Fool means getting out of your comfort zone and trying new things. Going to places that really interest you and staying to open to what life has to offer. Take some risks, learn something new, travel and be adventurous.

Enjoy you’re freedom because this usually means a new love interest is right around the corner and although you may be smitten it still requires that you consider another. If you’re going through a break-up this means to enjoy your new found freedom and stay open to what life has to offer, it should get real interesting, real quick! Wink, Wink.

As far as work and career is concerned you may be stepping up your game here as this represents next level stuff. Maybe you’re opening your own business, leaping into the world of entrepreneurship, or maybe you’re stepping in and up and taking the lead for someone who’s leaping off their cliff as well. Either way the Fool means a new beginning with a completely clean slate but with the added benefit of the wisdom from past experience. This means you know what to do as well as the opportunity to improve what you do. Step it up, let yourself shine!

Spiritually, The Fool truly is the Soul. It may seem foolish to plunge into a physical world where yes we’ve set up certain lessons but there are no guarantees. A place where we’ll develop amnesia, forgetting who we truly are only to have to go through a series of processes, most of them painful, to be able to remember who in fact we truly are. Yes, this sounds very foolish indeed but we all do it. And the best part is that this is VOLUNTARY! We think this is a good idea. And it most certainly is. The Fool is the part of us that will land us right smack in the middle of our next growth producing lesson with all of it’s twists and turns, challenges and gifts, victories and losses and joys and pains.

It’s the part of us that usually makes us wonder why we went to certain fateful places when we did and if we were sane for doing so. Our Soul knows exactly where we need to be to know what we don’t know yet, and exactly when to be there. It’s the journey not the destination and The Fool is the beginning of that journey. You’re ready when you’re ready.

So this week stay blissfully open to new experiences, new places and new faces and trust yourself enough to know that you’re right where you need to be. Synchronicities will abound and you’re relationship with the Source will prove to be all the better, more cohesive and most important. You’re a Child of the One on Most High so bring forth your God Self, your best self, your real self and everything else will fall into place.

Have a great week.
